Google equips both the standard Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro with the same Tensor G4 processor. This strategy ensures that budget-conscious buyers enjoy top-tier performance without compromise. In contrast, since the iPhone 12, Apple has used different processors for its standard and Pro iPhone models, leading to noticeable performance disparities between devices.
2. 120Hz Refresh Rate on All Models
Google standardizes a 120Hz refresh rate across the entire Pixel 9 lineup, including the base model. This decision guarantees smooth scrolling and a premium user experience on every device.
