Google has shared some surprising details about its next foldable device, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, rather than calling it the Pixel Fold 2. For those who don’t want to pause a YouTube clip, the new OnLeaks x 91Mobiles renders provide a clear visualization.
Design and Form-Factor
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s design appears taller than its predecessor but wider than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6. The new renders show a main display punch-hole, which was missing from Google’s video. The device features an Actua Front cover display and a Super Actua Flex main display, measuring 6.3 inches and 8 inches diagonally, respectively.
Bezels and Colors
Both screens have pronounced bezels that curve at each corner, unlike the Z Fold6. The renders reveal the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in two colors: Obsidian and Porcelain.
Release and Pricing
The premium device is expected to debut in August 2024. While there is no word on the exact price, its predecessor is still priced at $1,299 on Amazon.
