Wiz, a cybersecurity company, turned down a $23 billion acquisition offer from Alphabet, Google’s parent company. This offer was significantly higher than Wiz’s last private valuation of $12 billion. However, Wiz’s management chose to remain independent. In a letter to staff, CEO Assaf Rappaport stated their goal is now “to reach $1 billion in ARR and pursue an IPO.”
