This week’s patch brings exciting updates, starting with the arrival of t1 skins. these skins honor one of the greatest lineups in gaming history. we’ve also made improvements to matchmaking, updated the split 2 end and split 3 start dates (september 24/25), rotated the mythic shop, and brought back mastery points to the loading screen.
gameplay updates
we’ve adjusted death timers and deathguard mechanics to make sure you’re not punished for solo kills. now, your opponent can’t teleport back and freeze the wave on you. we’ve also continued to nerf adc itemization to balance solo queue and pro play. buffs have been made to champions who were underperforming, with specific changes to senna for a stronger support role and early game improvements for qiyana. corki, who’s been dominating mid lane at high levels, received a nerf. there are also updates for arena and aram players.

mid-patch updates
matchmaking improvements delay: the matchmaking improvements planned for patch 14.16 have been delayed to patch 14.17.
bug fixes:
– fixed a bug that prevented samira’s passive from showing letter grades next to her health bar.
– fixed a bug that caused rift herald to double charge towers.
