Windows 10 Update Microsoft Adds Account Manager in Start Menu

Windows 10 was expected to take a backseat, but that’s no longer the case. Recently, Microsoft has been adding new features. Earlier in 2024, they introduced Copilot in the taskbar. Now, another change similar to Windows 11 is coming to Windows 10: a Microsoft account manager in the Start menu.

Microsoft is currently testing new Start menu layouts for Windows 10. One layout adds a Microsoft account manager to the sidebar. You’ll notice its icon right above the Settings icon. When clicked, users can switch between local accounts or Microsoft accounts, adjust settings, lock the account, or sign out.

The new account manager will also highlight your Microsoft 365 usage and OneDrive storage.
